| This is for windows vista https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKV4iHvdR2M• Go to start • In the search bard on the bottom type Regedit• Find the folder local machines>system>current controlset>services>tcpip>parameters>interface. In the interface folder u will see 3 or more folder in there…. Chose the one that have your IP address. If u don’t know it choose the folder that have more data on it… i n it right click and make new entry( or what ever u type that) one call
TcpAckFrequency Hex=1
The other one
TPCNoDelay Hex=1
Both have to have Hex=1Then close everything then reboot or restart your pc. Then go to CONTROL PANEL then select UNINSTAL PROGRAMS On your left choose Turn features On/Off In there look for MSMQ Server and check the box next to it Then reboot/ restart the pc.. • Go to start • In the search bard on the bottom type Regedit• Then go to local machine>Software>Microsoft>MSMQ>Parameters
Again look for the folder that got more data on it in it right click and make new entry( or what ever u type that) one call TPCNoDelay Hex=1Then reboot/restart pc … if u this thing right o.o... u can test it using your heal skill( it will do the skill faster) u will see a difference while playing mabi X3.. it work for me do... i remember there was something else i did.. oh yea.. 1.- keep your computer clean from crap... 2.- clean your disk once in a while ( u can do that by going to computer.. right click on the C/:>properties>disk clean up) 3.-also defragmented once in a while... ( same steps on #2 but... instead of disk clean on. click defragmented) 4.- uninstal unuse programs.... for more adv tips to make your computer run smoother GOOGLE IT!!! PS: this works for windows vista DX if i found something about XP ill post it X3 PS:PS: i did this b/c i had seem some members saying they got lag while doing or charging skills X3 and playing X3

Thanks for posting this ric. I should go ahead and post the other ones...eventually. Once I get my comp back.

| I might not be the only guy here doing this, but... I'm using Windows 7 and that particular registry folder does not exist for me. I've been looking into disabling it for the Release Candidate, but so far, no luck. If any of y'all have Win7 and actually disabled the Nagle successfully, please post? (Though I guess it would be off-topic since this thread is for Vista users?) | |

| ok syu i found this i think this might help in your case
Reduce game network latency in Windows 7 or Vista
After installing Windows 7 I noticed a slight increase in network latency in several online games. It wasn’t a big deal – I’m talking 200-300ms, but this is on a connection that was reliably < 100ms in the past. Beyond the obvious settings in Windows or on your router, here’s a list of tweaks that may help quite a bit. It involves disabling Nagle’s algorithm, also commonly known as TCP no delay, which is basically an optimization of network traffic that tries to reduce overall packet volume but can cause extra latency in the connection. This should work on Windows 7 or Vista, though the same principle can probably applied to other operating systems as well.
1. From a command prompt (usually in All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) run “regedit”
2. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces
3. Browse the items under interfaces until you find one that has an IPAddress entry matching the network interface you want to affect (typically LAN IP addresses start with 192.168 or 10.0); note that if your IP address is automatically assigned by a DHCP server you may need to look for a matching DhcpIPAddress instead of IPAddress
4. Right-click on the interface and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it “TcpAckFrequency”
5. Right-click the new TcpAckFrequency value and select Modify, enter “1″ (Hexadecimal radio button should be selected)
6. Right-click on the interface and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it “TCPNoDelay” (note that TCP is all uppercase this time – that’s intentional)
7. Right-click the new TCPNoDelay value and select Modify, enter “1″ (Hexadecimal radio button should be selected)
8. Verify that both TcpAckFrequency and TCPNoDelay now show up in the adapter’s property list with types REG_DWORD and values 0×00000001
9. Exit regedit and reboot (reboot is necessary for the changes to take effect!)
10. Play a game and enjoy your new low ping
This decreased my ping in most games from 200-300ms to 50-60ms, which matches the latency I would see via a tracert to the game’s server.
i just notice they only reboot once so u dont need to reboot twice follow the instructions carefully and GL o.o

| Lawl... that's awesome... I was looking for the MSMQ folder for the longest time and it turns out I didn't even have to mess with it with Win7! XD Well, I guess I'll get around to disabling Nagle by the next I get on. Not sure how it will affect torrents transfer speeds for other programs yet though... I kinda wish I found that while it was still in the Beta phase before the RC came out lol.
Thanks for the info, Ricther!
Also, I wanted to put this in since some people might not be as computer literate and may not understand how to find the IP address. If you are not under DHCP (which is rare unless in certain situations where your administrator may assign one to track which computer is active on the network), go ahead and ask the admin, or you can follow the same instruction as the DHCP fellows (the rest of the group).
1a) If you are under Vista or Win7B/RC, simply press the Windows key then type "cmd" and press enter. 1b) If you are under XP or before that (can 2000 users play Mabi? I doubt many of us still use it on our mains. Can ME users play Mabi? Hell no, because that thing crashes just by running the OS!), press the Windows key then "r", which will bring up the "run" dialog box. If you're a mouse user... just click the "Run" button. Afterwards, once the dialog box comes up, type "cmd" and press enter.
2) In both cases, you will encounter the Command Prompt (a black box that few end-users see with text. It's like an old MS-DOS screen). From this screen, type "ipconfig", and it will display relevant information regarding your network configuration. For the more savvy people (not me. I can't tell heads or tails with some of these numbers), type "ipconfig /all" to display ALL relevant network information, even regarding network adapters no longer connected.
Use this information in accordance with the instructions posted by Ricther to disable the Nagle algorithm.

| For the second part (TCPNoDelay) download and run this file and it will do it automatically for those of you who are lazy/don't have the folder. http://www.sendspace.com/file/i3flaz | |

| You go to the thing and tweak that thing so you get the thing to do more things. | |

| Go to start>In the search bard on the bottom type Regedit>local machines>system>current controlset>services>tcpip>parameters>interface.
choose the folder that have more data on it… right click and make new entry
TcpAckFrequency Hex=1 > Both have to have Hex=1 TPCNoDelay Hex=1
restart your pc.
CONTROL PANEL>UNINSTAL PROGRAMS>Turn features On/Off>MSMQ Server and check the box next to it
restart the pc..
Go to start>In the search bard on the bottom type Regedit local machine>Software>Microsoft>MSMQ>Parameters
choose the folder that have more data on it… right click and make new entry
TPCNoDelay Hex=1> have Hex=1
restart your pc.
